I am in need of your prayers, and I don't do social media, so I am hoping this reaches those that love and know my son, Ray Edward.  I was at church today and the message of prayer was being preached and somehow, I have forgotten how powerful prayer really is! Ray Edward has had several more surgeries, which has really taken a toll on him, since I last journaled.  He has had 2 additional surgeries on his abdominal as recent as December 2023.  He had an 8 day stay in December 2023.  They had to cut him open again and remove another 6" of his intestines (he had a prior obstruction/scar tissue surgery a year and 1/2 ago).  The recovery was really rough in December.  He has been recovering.  Though the last surgery was successful unfortunately after additional 2 MRIs the surgeon discovered he now has a hernia.  They want to open him up again on same incision for the 4th time which is not good to remove this hernia that will continue to grow.  We are getting second opinion.  It has been very difficult for him to lead a normal life as we know it.  Every time he takes 2 steps forward the carpet is pulled from under him.  I am asking for prayers!  He fell off my health insurance when he turned 26 and no one will provide health coverage all because of this car accident that we were not at fault.  The other party had only $25k in coverage.  We received $9k total.  He has over $244k in medical bills that he had no health coverage for.  The medical bills are not important to us it's the prayers I need for his recovery and continued health in the future!  Please pray for Ray Edward to have health.  We all take our health for granted and have no idea how much we are blessed that we have health.  Thank you for taking the time to read my message!  God Bless! ❤️
