  Happy Thanksgiving

With immeasurable thanksgiving to our healing Father who has turned this mysterious, fearful journey of broken health, into a saga of unceasing loving fellowship, healing, and spiritual growth; we humbly bow.

All of you have served as witnesses to the miracle of Raymon's healing. The doctors and nursing staff at the various hospitals and follow-up office visitations, all suppressed shock at the vibrant, healed man before them. None of our fellow believers were "shocked" at God's promised healing, but worshiped, praising his name.

After the miracle of life has continued for the big guy, the road to recovery is dwindling.  Spread over the summer months with bumps along the way, we are now coming to an end to this particular road trip. Oh, we've added a few trails along the way, some expected, some quite a surprise. (A car accident, an unknown brain-infected area, recurring balance issues, medication side effects, and my own lack of health progress. But all that is past!)

Today, the medications are less, the hearing aid has been postponed, the balance issue is slight now, and the blood clot remains but is okay and being watched. Due to the hospitalization, he discovered a new doctor who performed repair surgery on previously installed equipment, and he now has a new roster of specialists including a podiatrist, ENT, pulmonologist, neurologist, general practitioner, and urologist.

Nothing has been achieved without you and your prayers. Your steadfast contact sustained us, prayer, tasks, meals, errands, and sacrificial giving. Without you, this Thanksgiving would be different. You see, it is you that we are most thankful for.

There really is no way to thank you for love, only to love in return.

Yes, he'll carry around the remnants of 2023 on his body. We all will!

This posting is our CaringBridge closing farewell. Please feel free to continue to contact either of us at any time, by text, email, or Facebook. Should a time come again when we are in such need, rest assured, we'll holler!
