Raven’s Story

Site created on July 12, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Raven survived a vehicle accident on June 13, 2018, but remains in critical condition. The amount of trauma her body has undergone is overwhelming as parents to describe. Let it be known that GOD has ordained and intervened the situation.

Raven has undergone numerous surgerical procedures, medical equipment for life support, and a continuous regimen of medications.

July 15, 2018- Raven is opening her eyes more frequently and focusing on looking directly at somebody. Raven still is dependent of a tracheal tube and wearing collared neck brace.

August 5, 2018- Raven is communicating with silent speech as we make every attempt to read her lips. In addition, there is daily progress in moving and grasping with her right arm and hand.
