Randy’s Story

Site created on July 7, 2022

Randy suffered a stroke in the early morning  of July 3, 2022. He is currently in the hospital and recovering. We thank our friends, family, and loved ones for your emotional support and concern, and we will keep everyone apprised as time progresses.  We respectfully request no visitors so he can gain his strength.  Please check this website as we will post updates on his condition. - Rose Marie

Newest Update

Journal entry by Stephanie Sandoval

On Dec. 3rd, we marked 5 months since Randy suffered a stroke. He has been receiving out-patient therapy at St. David’s since the latter part of August. He has had physical, occupational, and speech therapies and has had made steady progress. He has developed a limited vocabulary of words and has continued to get on a treadmill with the help of therapists.

We will add the calendar for visits after the holiday season. Check out the Sign Up Genius link in mid-January. We will post the link at that time.

We will continue with 20 min. visits and require a mask when you come by. Please refrain from dropping by unexpectedly. We want to avoid any airborne illnesses. COVID is still around and flu season is upon us.

Please continue to pray and we remain positive going into 2023. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
