From dad- It is a beautiful day on this Memorial Day! It seems that we have made it through the winter of '23. Over the course of the last 2 years, you may have heard about the surgeries I have had & the health problems I've had. Since the last note from my family, I have decided that all the doctors we have seen have done everything they could in their scope of medicine for my Congestive Heart Failure. We, as a family, have decided to take the doctors advice & begin hospice care at home which began at the beginning of May. According to my hospice nurse, my health continues to deteriorate. It's very hard for me to accept. I'd rather be out visiting people for coffee & playing golf. However, I have been pretty weak & tired lately.  I appreciate all the kind messages, phone calls, and visits. Your thoughts and prayers are always appreciated. Ralph
