Today we're "cheers-ing" to a GOOD DAY!! 🥂

We had a routine cardiology appointment and truth be told - I always get nervous the few days leading up to them...most days I forget Rollie even has a heart defect. I mean you guys know, you've seen his shenanigans! Lol...but the days leading up to his appointment, GAH!! they are a different story. I tend to replay all the bad things that have happened and could happen again...I hate that. It scares me and also makes me sad because I do not like to live in fear. I know living in fear means I'm not trusting the Lord - and Oh is He worthy of being trusted!!  So...I let myself feel those feelings of anxiousness and then remind myself of how faithful God's been and how He's worked in and through Rollie and in and through all the doctors and nurses that have cared for him! I remind myself of how intentionally and miraculously He created Rollie's body and that He knows everything about it...and even though I can't see his heart between echos, He can! ❤

So today when we walked into the heart clinic I had peace...peace that was validated when

Rollie's cardiologist walked in and said, "you guys, he looks amazing! His heart is beautiful! No leaky valves, excellent function and is beautifully football shaped."  (I'm not sure about the whole football thing, but I trust his cardiologist, so a football heart it is! 🏈🤷‍♀️)

Thank you for your continued prayers for our sweet (well most days) Rollie! ❤🙏

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

We give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His steadfast Love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
