Hi everyone. Sorry for the updates not being daily anymore. I try to update when something new has changed. Yesterday o wasn’t able to visit with mom. When I saw her today she told me she had a blood transfusion because her hemoglobin was low. Her incision in her groin has been leaking, but we were told it was normal because of the lymphatic tissue in that area. Well, today I found out that the pin size hole turned into a quarter size hole. She had a meeting with wound care at the main hospital early afternoon, and they cut open the area and drained it out. When she got back to the rehab center, they put her back on a wound vac for her groin area. She is now on another IV antibiotic.
