Journal entry by Haas Sullivan

On behalf of my family - I just want to thank everyone once again for the all the support we've received over this past month. It's been a difficult roller coaster of emotions, some days are harder than others and you never know what will bring the emotions out full steam, but we've been surrounded by love throughout. We've been keeping busy as best we can - from road trips to Arizona to get away for Halloween/my cousins wedding to a weeklong stay at a friend's timeshare in Kauai - with countless visits from friends and family sprinkled in between. The distractions help, but we know it doesn't change our reality. I'm not a writer and I realize the words won't do me justice - but the level of absolute heartache and yearning for our baby girl to be with us doesn't fade. There is some solace in knowing how many people she touched, lives she impacted, lessons she taught - but we can't help but selfishly wish that she was still her to do it in the flesh.

We're also happy to know she is pain free, and watching over us - we see the signs daily.

We wanted to share a video our friend put together highlighting some of Raegan's Celebration of Life. It doesn't contain the slideshow we shared or any of the speeches that occurred in the auditorium - but it does show the part Raegan would have enjoyed most - the fun stuff, the community that showered her and our family with love enjoying some of her favorite things. I can't count the numbers of conversations she had in the hospital and at home planning 'her party' - and as devastating as it is that she wasn't able to physically be there, it was beautiful to see her vision come to life.

Thank to you everyone that played a role in celebrating Raegan in style - from planning and coordinating, to donating, hosting, singing, speaking, setting up and cleaning, attending, to lifting us up in general - we literally couldn't have done it without you.
