About two weeks ago Olivia had her follow up appointment with northwest eye in maple grove to figure out what we’re were going to do about her eye crossing. Yes it’s amazing that’s she is wearing her glasses pretty much full time now but unfortunately Miss Olivia will still need to have eye surgery. The glasses haven’t been helping much with getting her eyes to straighten out. We will have the surgery done at The Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis in July. They informed us she will still needed her glasses after the surgery, she won’t be able to swim/be in water for 2 weeks and the white of her eyes will look pretty red for the first week. She should not have to spend the night but we will go for a follow up 2 days after the surgery. 
Olivia is also having her follow up MRI and appointment with neurosurgery this Wednesday and see if the fluid in her brain has gone down from 3 months ago. The last time we went in the noticed she had a little more fluid than they would like. We didn’t change any settings with her shunt that time just to see what would happen so they asked to see us in 3 months instead of 6 months. While we are there I will let them know about the eye surgery and see if they want to do a full MRI with her being she will be sedated. 

Amelia hasn’t had much going on besides lots of therapy, chiropractor appointments and stretching. Friday at the chiropractor we found out she is positive for still having some of her primitive reflexes. She told us things we can do with Amelia of the next 6 weeks to hopefully have these go away. Towards the end of May she will have another sedated MRI and Botox done at Gillette Children’s in st.paul.

Macey has just a little over a month left of school! Where did that time go?! She is so excited for summer but also really excited for moving up to kindergarten! She will have lots of field trips coming up in May! If anyone has anything fun to do during the summer with a 5.5year old or something to do with all 3 girls send them my way please 😊 or easy little crafts macey can do while she is at the bowling alley with me let me know!
