Phil’s Story

Site created on October 9, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Phil Greenleaf. We are using this page to help keep friends and family up to date with the progression of Phil's health. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time. Thank you for visiting.

Phil was diagnosed with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma in November 2022 and had ablation surgery in December 2022 to remove the small lesion of cancer that was originally found in his liver. Phil and Melissa then spent 2 full weeks in Switzerland with friends and visited Phil's younger brother, David, back in May of this year. He finally got to explore other parts of the world and visit one of the most beautiful places he's ever been. After returning from the trip, a new scan showed his cancer came back and started to progress aggressively. After receiving second opinions and a path forward, Phil completed 1 round of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Due to various health issues, Phil has been in and out of the hospital throughout the month of September and into October.

We would love to hear of your favorite memories of Phil from over the years so we strongly encourage you to write a post down below!

Much Love,
