Just like was predicted by our “Pete’s Team” book you all sent in photos for, Pete has made it through treatment and come out cancer-free! HALLELUJAH, God is good and we are SO grateful. Pete had his last radiation session today, finishing his treatment! It’s almost surreal to have gotten to this point. We are all full of emotions and just so relieved. We knew he would beat this, and we are so proud of him for it! Pete has been so incredibly strong and his faith has inspired countless people. Karen says we all need to say as many prayers of thanks as we did prayers asking for healing! We will all be praying for quite awhile.
Thinking back to all of the meals, texts, cards, calls, visits, gifts, and most of all the prayers you said for Pete, it’s just overwhelming. We have the best village of supporters around us and we all count ourselves so incredibly blessed to know and be loved by all of you. We can’t say thank you enough.
Pete wishes he could thank each and every one of you individually. He is overwhelmed by all of your love and kindness. Your comments and “hearts” on this site have been incredibly helpful on hard days and mean more than you know!
