One hour ago Ev was wheeled back to the OR. And now, he's officially in surgery. Ev was feeling good this morning. Doctors gave him something to help him relax and he left Mar in high (no pun intended) spirits. The easy part, we believe, will be the surgery. The hard part comes later when the kids are home and Ev is recovering.

Mar is doing well all things considered. She'll be hanging out at the hospital, cell phone in hand waiting for news on Ev's surgery. Our dad is with her for support. The kids are having a great time at Nana's house. All seems well for now.
