Welcome to Peggy Sue's Journey.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Through our life journeys there are many first.   First time we tip our toes in the ocean.  First time we see a beautiful sunset.  First kiss, first love, first baby and look into their eyes. first time seeing baby fawn walking thru the woods.  That being said, these are moments we enjoy in our life.   Yet sometimes we receive the ‘firsts’  we never want to know about.   First time we have a serious illness called cancer.    I recently received a cancer diagnosis which is at stage 4.     I have a tumor in my liver, breast, hip.  This tumor is also eating away at my spine.   I will be undergoing back surgery to stabilize my back so I can walk.    I’ve had a biopsy, once pathology is received we will know steps for treating the cancer.

I appreciate everyone’s concern for my health, but I have a great team of Doctors that the Lord put together for me.  And I trust and believe that My Healer (Jevoha Rophe) has this under control.    What I need the most from you are prayers.

God Bless

Journal entry by Peggy Sue Richards

Good afternoon friends and family,

Yesterday was a busy day of partial chemotherapy and afterwards my radiation treatment. One part of the chemo drug was held back because of my radiation treatment. This morning when I woke up my body wasn’t to happy with me as I was in pain. It’s not a surprise though with laying on a metal table while doing the radiation treatment. Thank goodness for a prescription for pain medication. Seven more radiation treatments to go. Thank you to all who have volunteered to go with me. I so appreciate it. 🦋

A few people have reached out to me to pick up my friend Suzie from the airport so now she does have a ride. Thank you so much!  🥰

I am so thankful and blessed by wonderful friends and family who have reached out to me by text, phone calls, and cards I’ve received in the mail. It really lifts my spirits and makes each day brighter and beautiful.

Love you all! God Bless!
