On August 22nd Paul had a coughing attack and went outside got light headed, fell and hit his head on the cement. Melody found him unconscious and called 911. He was brought to Grand Itasca where they found out he had a brain bleed and he was air lifted to St. Lukes. He is currently in the icu in St. Lukes.
This page is to keep his family and friends updated. I will post the updates I get on this site. Anyone else who wants to post please do.

Journal entry by Becca Hilts

Paul has been out of icu for four days now. He is recognizes his family and friends when they come to visit. His long term memory is good but is struggling with some of his short term memory. He should be starting rehabilitation within the next couple days. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and concern it has meant the world to him and his family.@
