Site created on June 4, 2023

Hello Everyone! Thanks for stopping by to check on Paul! We will continue to update this with new information. The first journal entry will be able to explain what is going on with him.  We need Paul to stay strong for all of us, but we have no doubt he can!

Journal entry by Leslie Nordberg

As many of you know, we are home!!!  We came home Sept. 24.  Paul's thrilled to be home & has been doing really well.  He is getting weekly labs at Cambridge Clinic & we will go to Mayo monthly.  Our first visit is next Tuesday & Wednesday.  He's jumped right into home projects.  He gets tired easily & he can't understand why?😂  He walked a mile yesterday.  I'm SO proud of him. He has a ways to go to accept all of the donor's cells.  No crowds, minimal visitors, needs to wear a mask.  Of course, I tend not to be a rule follower & I flunked last weekend.  Eric & Joni's families came & stayed at a motel in Isanti.  I stayed with Eric Saturday night & cuddled 4 yr old Evie who coughed all over me.  Well,  surprise, I was sick with a cold Monday morning, as were other family members.  Not Paul, cuz he stayed away.  So far, so good - I'm keeping my distance from him.

Mayo is the most amazing medical facility.  We came away from Mayo knowing that we need to pray for all the patients, medical staff, & caregivers.  They all have a story to tell.  God has lots of hands to hold.

We love you all.  Paul & I are so fortunate to have such caring friends & family.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Continue to pray for Paul's recovery.

Love, Paul & Leslie
