Paul’s Story

Site created on December 6, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In the early morning on Monday, December 5th Paul had a stroke. He was admitted into HCMC and brought to their SICU team. After an angiogram, MRI and multiple CT scans it was discovered that he had bleeding in his brain from a burst blood vessel. The bleeding collected near the top of the brain stem.
Currently he has no more bleeding and some of the blood is draining from where it collected.
Now we are praying that he can breathe on his own without the ventilator and that he would respond to commands to open eyes and to lift up his thumb.
We are taking things moment by moment. We also feel like there has been encouraging progress that has been made.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed for our dad and family, and supported us. We fill lifted up in everyone’s love and in God’s love. We know God can do all things.
