Mom remains in rehab at Courage Kenny in Minneapolis. We had a care conference on Tuesday to discuss her progress. Mom's healing has been progressing, she still has weakness on her right side but improves daily. Physical Therapy (PT) has been working on her range of motion (ROM). Occupational Therapy (OT) has been  working on mostly her fine motor strength training, such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, etc... Lastly, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) has been assessing her cognition and speech. Her mouth muscles have been improving as SLP has a machine that tests for her muscular strength in her mouth, she's been showing steady progress on the daily.

She's been up and walking around more, still weak on the right side, but showing progression with increasing mobility and strength. PT/OT/SLP believe she is ready for discharge as soon as this Friday.

This has been stressful on our entire family. My family has set up a Meal Train website to aid in this transitional period. If you feel called to help out in anyway we would greatly appreciate it. I have pasted the link below.

Praise Reports:
-Mom has been improving on a daily basis
-->more range of motion in her arm, legs, fingers, facial muscles, as well as improved speech.

Prayer Needs:
-Continual prayer over her healing process, both physical and emotional
-Pray for her recovery and minimal/no residual side effects.
-Pray for my family for wisdom, guidance, and encouragement as we try to adjust to the new "norm" and wrestle with the trauma we all experienced in all this.
