Update number 2 for the day: Mom had a cardiology appointment today to determine if her heart is healthy for chemo.  She will need to have an echo (ultrasound of the heart) and two nuclear stress tests (cant run on a treadmill when you have a lead ball in your thigh).  CT scan was denied by her insurance so her PCP is doing everything he can to push it through.  Also pushed through referral to MD Anderson.
