Hello friends!

One year ago tonight many of you joined us at Vriesland Church in a prayer service for Paula's healing.
We are rejoicing and thanking God with you for God's faithfulness to Paula and her family!

A note from Paula -

To God be the Glory!!  What a year it's been, so full of God's love, mercy and divine intervention.  I am so humbled and thankful for the support and love given.  I've learned a lot over the past year, mainly just to be faithful and trust in God.  He has a plan even when we can't feel it or see it.  There is a plan..and it's good, we just have to be patient in the process of it being revealed. Something I'm still working on. :)

Physically, I am still gaining ground on muscle strength and endurance. Oxygen-level wise- my lungs are continuing to improve. It was late July that they first heard air flow in the lower lobes of my lungs, something they weren't sure was ever going to happen.  They feel I will gain back all functions in my lungs, but it may be 1-1 1/2 years as lungs just take time to heal.  Stairs still get me, but it's getting better!  I've been off oxygen since late July-early August. It's going very well!

I'm back to work full-time and have been since the beginning of September.

Thank you everyone for all of the prayers, calls, visits, cards, meals and hugs. It all means the world to me. I'm so grateful for all of you!

We moved Ella to school, Tim and I went to a concert this fall, dinner with family and getting together with friends...it is really the small things in life that I'm valuing and appreciating more.

One important thing I really want to share, don't underestimate the power of prayer.  I've had so many people come up to me and share with me they were praying for me (and still are).  I can't even tell you how much that touches and humbles me.  I've prayed often for others, but never realized the impact, until others were sharing with me when they have been praying for me.

Prayer is an incredible gift to give and receive and I had no idea how profound it truly is.

God bless you all during this holiday season. Hug a little longer, love a little harder..we have no idea when God will call us Home.

I ask that you please keep some of my friends and family in your prayers during this season..some are missing loved ones and some are dealing with health issues.

Thanks so much and much love to you all,

Paula
