Dear Friends and Family,

This is Kathi writing.  Mom finished her radiation a week ago today and came through with flying colors!  We thought she might experience some extra fatigue this week but she had no symptoms whatsoever!  Everyone says she's remarkable and it's certainly true.  She is so unflappable!  I think that's why she does so well.  Nothing seems to ruffle her feathers - haha!  We are so grateful that she did so well.  Praying now, that the radiation was effective and will keep her from developing any further growths.  Dan and I leave early in the morning for a 3 week, 40th anniversary trip.  I feel a little anxious leaving Mom but Vicki will be coming next week for a few days and my brother plans to visit as well.  Many of you have been so gracious to come alongside Mom and I know she will appreciate seeing some of you over the next several weeks.  She assured us she would be okay.  That's our encouraging update!  Thank you all, once again, for your love, prayers, support, and encouragement!
