Patty & Stan’s Story

On Jan 30th, Patty had an annual screen that showed she had a spot on her lung. On Feb 4th she traveled to Sioux Falls to see her pulmonologist for a biopsy. On Thursday, February 6th we received the results that we never imagined possible- small cell cancer. Patty was able to be seen by an oncologist in Pierre that very afternoon, and so her relationship with Dr. D began.  A quick trip to Sioux Falls for a PET scan on Thursday and back to Pierre to meet with Dr. D on Friday for the results.
