Results of the latest ct scan were nothing to write home about, the doctor said it was a "wash." Minor shrinkage in some tumors and growth in others. Patti took the news like a champ AS ALWAYS! She is the strongest woman as we all know. She needed a 5 hour blood transfusion today because she was severely anemic because of the chemo. With all that being said, we discussed letting her take a break to allow her body to rest and respond to the blood transfusion. We are hoping this break will give her some reprieve and help her to feel a little more like herself again! Needless to say, our schedule will be a little more open without so many appointments over the next few weeks and I'm sure she would love some visitors. 🙏
