At Mom’s routine bloodwork last week, we learned that her CA125 ovarian cancer marker is elevated to 57.3 from 12 in January. She had a CT last week. We met virtually with the doctor yesterday and he said the CT shows no new masses. However, One of my mom’s lymph nodes in her abdomen, specifically the right external iliac area, is 1.8 cm, enlarged from 1 cm. So they are scheduling a biopsy to see if it is cancerous, while simultaneously starting a conversation about a potential clinical trial if the Lymph node shows disease, that way we don’t lose time. We appreciate all of the prayers in the meantime🩷
