Pat’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.   We will try our best to update this daily.  Pat's  journey began in December 2019 when he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a rare cancer of the blood).  In May of 2020 he underwent a stem cell transplant at Emory (Clifton Road).  On January 23, 2021, he was diagnosed with Covid.  He is currently in ICU at Emory St. Joseph's.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. It’s been a while!  Pat has been busy with therapy and just enjoying being at home.  He is getting stronger daily and rarely using his walker or oxygen.  He had an oncology appointment yesterday and we have a huge praise report!  His cancer is still in remission.  God is still showing out and we couldn’t be more grateful!
