Good morning! Just wanted to let you know that surgery was completed and everything went well. Praise God for a successful surgery without complications!

It took 8 hours for 4 procedures and surgeon said that everything went as planned.  He said it was a good sized tumor. They removed tumors in the lymph nodes, completed resection, and ileostomy is in too. His pain is increasing as the anesthesia is wearing off so he’s on consistent meds. Most of the night he was able to sleep, longest stretch was about 4 hrs.  Got a quick walk this morning too! Needs to keep resting so he can focus on healing. He only gets limited 500 ml fluid ration for the next 24 hrs as food. Still in a recovery in OR so we’re waiting for a room to open up.

- Managed pain levels

- Healing without complications post surgery (blood clots, pneumonia, nausea)

- A private room to be transferred into

- Continued peace through recovery
