The past few days have been tough and we have seen a big decline in Pat. Since Sunday, he has just been sleeping and would only wake to go to the bathroom or take medicine. Today, however, even doing those tasks is exceedingly difficult. Fortunately, he seems to be comfortable and in no pain, and will occasionally come to and say a few words. My mom and I are with him basically 24/7 taking care of him with the help of Hospice. We are thankful that it is summer break and we can be here for him fully during this time.
