As I think most of you know we moved to California where I have 9 grandchildren. (Check out the final episode of Agents of Shield on ABC to see my granddaughter, Harlow Hexum (Nick's youngest) as the daughter.)  We live in a a San Jose suburb, Campbell.  We love the weather here and as soon as the fire season stops, I shall be out doing my walks again in this beautiful neighborhood.

I am doing very well, although I did develop a lesion and my fifth rib and have had another round of chemo (Darzalex).  This is only weekly shots for ten weeks so it feels like it is no big deal and I can tell it fixed the rib, which was hurting.  My first thought when the rib hurt was that I was having cysts in my breast and armpit, but as soon as I met with an OB-Gyn I got the lesion news from my CT scan. My daughter said, "If something hurts on you, just assume it it is Multiple Myeloma!"  I think she is right.

Hatcher is the one who goes out and does the shopping that we don't have delivered during COVID.  He even shaved his beard to get his mask to fit.  He has had a beard for 35 years.  It was a little shocking at first. Photo below.

I have only bought one thing myself since March 8th and have only left the house for medical events.  The day I had the CT scan I was done at 5:00p.m.  I noticed that there was a Starbuck's across the street and I knew I was about out of the beans I grind daily.  There was only one other customer and I bought two bags which have made me happy and energized!

I am still see a lot of clients--about 12 per week on Zoom and FaceTime.  I was keeping it at 8/week but COVID has caused a lot of old clients to come back and new clients to seek help.

Ira, now 11, is still my main priority.  He has ADHD and does very well on meds.  I have attended online workshops on ADHA and feel good about the medication choice.  He also has therapy, but then I have a ton of strategies for him too!  He is doing online school, but they are talking about opening it up, which does not make me happy given my compromised immune system.

Hope you are all doing well and wearing your masks!  I have decided we should start a fan club for Fauci--called the Fauchicks!  After all we had a fan club for Cumberbatch called the Cumberbitches!  hope that made you laugh!
