Mom had some fluid drained from her chest cavity today. 800cc.
Less than her last appointment on April 3rd, 1300cc
She feels a little better, but any activity is exhausting to her.
There is talk about installing a pleural drain /port so she can drain it herself at home.
A referral has been submitted to Dr Schafer.
She has her chemotherapy treatment tomorrow at 2:30.
We will see if we can find out more about getting her a port during our visit.
I am here with her until Wednesday afternoon.
