Pastor Tom’s Story

Site created on January 23, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Tom was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, 1/20, to treat worsening COVID and the development of double lung pneumonia. His body was having trouble maintaining stable oxygen levels and he wasn’t eating or drinking. After admission, Tom was started on a number of treatments, and was given a more significant oxygen intervention to stabilize oxygen levels. Saturday, 1/22 was the first day that Tom didn’t get worse. His current O2 intervention has helped him better maintain oxygen levels. He has been eating and drinking and getting IV fluids. He has been joking again. Tom will get a chest Xray Sunday, 1/23 to assess if his lungs are clearing further. Thank you for your words of encouragement and support, and thank you for your prayers and sharing of scriptures. We feel the comfort and peace of Christ as we move through this difficult time.
