So a quick recap of what has been going on this last week. Mom went to the ER in Omaha due to her liver enzymes being high. They noticed inflammation around her stent area in her bile duct after doing a CT scan. They feared infection and started antibiotics. She was finally able to have surgery Friday to have the stent removed and a new metal stent was placed. This is a more permanent stent. It was confirmed after surgery she does have cholangitis, which is an infection in the bile duct. Her blood cultures came back positive meaning she has an infection in her blood stream as well. Doctors have been truly amazing. Mom is doing well all things considered. Keep the prayers coming!!  We appreciate each and every one of them.
