GREAT NEWS!
Last week Parker received word from the BMT team that his DNA test came back with “GREAT NEWS!” 100% donor chimerism (donor cells are durably engrafted) plus negative B-ALL!
So many prayers, so much love and support, so many positive thoughts have moved Parker to this place.
We are thrilled that Parker is one of Mayo’s true success stories. He has said that he never wants to go back to Rochester again. He will have to return for routine checkups, but those trips will lessen over time. We are so thankful for the care he has received. His medical team has been outstanding.
No words are adequate to express our thanks for all the kindnesses we have received. Our family and friends have truly shown up in force.
We are so grateful to sign off on our final Caring Bridge post with this happy news.
We end with one last request. If you are interested in learning more about the fascinating donor process or possibly signing up to be a donor, please visit Be The Match. Their mission: Find cures. Save lives. https://bethematch.org
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Parker's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
