Bye 'Benny'!
Today started my 'every 3 week' infusion. It's a 30 minute infusion that really takes about 1 1/2 hours. No BENADRYL - so bye bye Benny and fogginess. Whew.
It has a couple side effects but we are hoping they stay minimal . The big thing is this drug can be known to not 'play' nicely with the heart. Every precaution is made to watch this- and I have another echocardiogram on June 18 th the day before my next infusion.
My tumor was a high grade( plus my history is interesting as one doctor said) so we are doing EVERYTHING to make sure PAC Man does his job !!
The chemo is still causing hip pain and 🙈Imodium use but we are hoping it leaves within 4 weeks. 🙏🏻
It could be so much worse. It seemed odd not to fall asleep in the chair today.
