Journal entry by Pam Lyons —
1 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
This week God has been comforting me along with our family/friends. The bad news is my PET scan revealed new and additional cancer growth in the lungs and liver. We've visited Mayo, MD Anderson, City of Hope and Honor Health. Thankfully, they all recommend the same thing... get into the Mirati trial at Mayo. The problem, I gave up my spot in February and now the study is full. However, our Mayo doctor is working on it and she will call us on Friday. Until then, would you pray with us?
Lord, please open a spot for at Mayo for Pam to enter the Mirati trial. We trust your will and we ask in the full assurance of hope that you will work miraculously on her behalf.
Much Love,
Pam and Steve
