You could tell Rafa was a little nervous but he was very brave today. We are proud of him. He seems to have handled anathesia well so far and quite calm and cooperative afterwards. (Not usual, for anyone else whose child has had it knows!) Today was special in that Derek was able to come with us today. It’s usually just me taking Rafa to all his appts as Derek has just been too sick. But we needed him today and it was a beautiful thing to see how important he is to Rafa and I being there! I basically held Jathan while Derek took care of Rafa in whatever he needed. So healing and redeeming of the times I wished he could be there over the years. What a gift to Rafa to have him there and a tender gift to my heart as well. 

The radiologist and then the doctor will read the reports and let us know the results later this week. 

Thank you for praying the specific things you did. They were heard and answered and I’m so glad you prayed on our behalf. God is kind and does immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.

We will trust Him for what’s next.
