Paden’s Story

Site created on August 3, 2020

On July 18th, 2020, Paden Dunn, hot from the Oklahoma summer heat, dove into Lake Eufaula to cool off. The water was a mere two feet deep. He was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, and miraculously survived multiple surgeries on his spine and to stabilize him. As of date, he is still at Mercy. While Paden will need round the clock care for the foreseeable future, we are so grateful that God has seen fit to give him a future. All who know Paden love his endearing smile and giant hugs. We look forward to a day soon when we will get to hug him again, but for now the road ahead is paved with getting Paden into a spinal rehab center so he can continue his recovery.  Please pray for him, for his little girls and the rest of his family as they travel the road with him.
