I can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas! Some days seem so long but the time seems to fly by faster and faster each year. Things have been so busy.

Winter hit early this year and we have been scrambling to get our cows moved home for the winter. The deep snow has us feeding cows earlier than usual and we are still gathering strays in the mountains.

Megan has been busy with all of her Christmas stuff! I thought she might take a year off considering all she has been through but I guess by now I should know better. She certainly is not going to let Christmas slip by unnoticed. The boys have been playing hockey and Teagan’s team has had a good season so far.

Meg has been doing pretty good. She is able to do a little more than before but she has a tendency to overdue it so she is trying to find a balance. It’s incredible to see how far she has come, but as you know, she has a ways to go. We are still praying that her recovery continues and that her heart and health will be restored.

This Friday the 16th we would like to start a novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It will end on Christmas Eve and we are asking that Megan receive a miracle healing with the Eucharist at Christmas Eve Mass. Please join us as we pray this novena:

O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of (full restoration of Megan’s heart and health through the intercession of Father Kapaun, Saint Padre Pio and all the Saints). O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in My name, He will give it to you.” Behold, in Your name, I ask the Father for the grace of (full restoration of Megan’s heart and health through the intercession of Father Kapaun, Saint Padre Pio and all the Saints). Our Father … Hail Mary … Glory Be … Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.

O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but My words will not pass away.” Encouraged by Your infallible words I now ask for the grace of (full restoration of Megan’s heart and health through the intercession of Father Kapaun, Saint Padre Pio and all the Saints). Our Father … Hail Mary … Glory Be … Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours.

Say the Hail, Holy Queen and add: “St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.”
