We're home! ...again. After Monday's scare, Nova racked up 1 helicopter ride, 2 ambulance rides, 3 hospitals, and some more tests. Came back negative for flu, RSV, rhinovirus, etc. She's fine and we're back home now.
This morning we woke up to a package full of Valentine's Day cards from Mrs. Deardorff and her students for Nova, the boys, and these crazy worn out parents. It was adorable and oh so appreciated!
Were also able to finally pick up my car from the mechanic (big shout out to Tex Roadcap Auto Repair and my mom/Larry who all helped with that black ice disaster).
And final update for today. In a previous post I alluded to a job change. In addition to praying for continued health for Nova, please pray that God will show us whether or not to move to Green Bay, Wisconsin. My job at Schneider offered me either a severance package or a relocation package by the end of May. Still ironing out the details of the relo package, but so long as we can sell our house (that we just bought less than a year ago) the move seems to be the best option for our family. Please pray God will make His direction clear.
Thanks for your continued support. Nova's diagnosis is an ongoing thing that wasn't solved during the 2.5 month hospital stay. There are already almost 2 dozen follow up appointments scheduled with specialists, her Early Intervention evaluation is this Monday, and it's still a day-to-day struggle. But we're so blessed to still have her in our lives. It could be way worse. Thank you all for your prayers and support!
