Good News!

How delightful are the feet of him who brings good news.
Who announces peace and brings glad tidings of happiness.
Who proclaims salvation and says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Isaiah 52:7

It's been a whirlwind of a month with both my husband and daughter having had covid (they recovered well), my "triple negative" very bad kind of cancer diagnosis, testing for additional ovarian cancer (no, thank goodness), followed by major surgery to remove the mass just one week ago on October 1st. What a roller coaster!

Now I get to share the good news of my just-in pathology report!

1. Very small mass, only ½" in size
2. The cancer has "apocrine features" which makes it very rare and a lot less aggressive
3. Growth was "Grade 1" which is the slowest growing cancer
4. Lymph nodes were confirmed completely clear which along with the small size means a Stage 1 cancer
5. The edges were widely clear. The closest margin was 2.5 cm. My surgeon said that is as good as she sees. In other words they completely got the mass out with clear, wide margins.

My doctor said there is currently no cancer left to treat. Yet I could choose to have a very toxic chemo as a preventative that would pretty much wipe me off the map and possibly kill me (no joke). Or she said other patients she has with my similar cancer have chosen to NOT have chemo. And she said they are doing just fine.

Guess which one I am choosing? Right, no chemo! But I am becoming a patient at a remarkable natural cancer treatment center to help me support and strengthen my body, address root causes, diet and strengthen my immune system for years to come to avoid cancer recurrence.

And that's the good news for today:)

With all this remarkable news my husband's Parkinson's symptoms have calmed down and he is doing much better. Yes!
