Well, it’s been over 5 months since our last post and a lot has happened in that time. On January 4th Noelle had an MRI and oncology appointment which showed that treatment was continuing to work, and because those good results, Noelle’s final chemo was taken on Friday January 14th, after a year and half of treatment, this was welcomed news. Noelle had a Zoom party with her close friends from around the world to celebrate this momentous occasion. It was extra special that Noelle’s sister Olivia was also able to be with us to celebrate.
Noelle had her first post chemo MRI and oncology appointment March 1st. and Dr Trusheim was very pleased with how well Noelle’s body responded to treatment and has deemed her to be in remission. She has now moved into the monitoring phase of her care and will now have scans every 3 months and do monthly blood work instead of weekly. She will also be getting a new oncologist as Dr Trusheim is retiring in early summer.
Noelle’s body continues to recover from all that it been through and it may take awhile for her to fully feel like herself, but we are beyond grateful for her good results.
We are also eternally grateful for all of your faithful prayers and support throughout these last couple of years. Please continue to pray for strength and stamina as Noelle continues to heal from what treatment has done.
Again, thank you and God Bless.
