Tomorrow marks 2 years since the fateful day that changed Noble's life.  An incredibly difficult, challenging, and miraculous time is has been.  As I reflect, I still get emotional thinking about the first few days and months.  They seem to blur together as I had little to no sleep and there was so much unknown.  And yet I had peace.  A comfort that only God can give in the midst of turmoil.  Calm in the chaos.  Faith instead of fear.  

God gave me the promise that Noble would run again during my 8 hour drive to Wichita.  Trusting and having patience while we wait is the hardest part.  Yet look how far he has come!  Not without hard work, grit, determination, and relentless faith!  Surrounded by a team of supporters, he continues to progress.   And to God be the glory as Noble's story has continued to go viral throughout the world!  My prayer is that someone who needs a bit of encouragement for what they are going through, someone who has lost their faith or belief in God would hear Noble's story and be encouraged and motivated to keep going, keep trusting, keep fighting!

When we sat down at church this morning, a young man sat across the isle from Noble.  He couldn't have been more than 24 years old.  He was wearing shorts and on the inside of his right knee had a tatoo that said "I will inspire, encourage, influence, motivate".   It impressed both Noble and me and I couldn't help but think how meaningful that must have been for him to tatoo it to his leg (in a painful spot I imagine too).  A reminder for himself every day.  

"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who HOPE in the Lord will RENEW their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they WILL RUN and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  Isaiah 40:30-31
