We are heading to the airport after a phenomenal four days at Disney World with our best big girl. This was Addie’s first trip to Disney World and we are so grateful to everyone who helped this amazing trip happen. Ryan and I have been talking for a while about a family trip to Disney for spring break of 2025, but seems up in the air with the unknowns of Noah’s health so when the opportunity to take a bit of a last minute trip to Disney with just Addie presented itself we were thrilled to do it.

We have spent so much of this year wrapped up in Noah, even now that he’s home with all of his appointments and my constant anxiety if he has the slightest sniffle, that it was so wonderful to spend one on one time with our first baby. Not being with her for four weeks was incredibly hard on all of us and giving her this precious time to be the princess she is was good for everyone’s soul. Her joy and excitement at every turn in the parks made every hot line and mile walked (which ps a minimum of 8 miles a day) more than worth it. She loved meeting all the characters and was particularly amazed at her transformation at the Bippity Boppity Boutique. She obviously wanted to transform into Queen Elsa and then we hopped the monorail over to Epcot to meet Ana and Elsa while Addie was in her full Elsa splendor. One of many moments from this trip I will never forget.

I will also never forget her obsession with the rollercoasters! This gal is brave!! She did the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train four times and would have done Slinky Dog Dash one hundred times if the line wasn’t crazy long. Tuesday night we were on 7 Dwarfs as the fireworks went off overhead and it is for sure a core memory for me. We hopped off just in time to watch the tail end of the fireworks together and she was just in awe. Some other highlights were meeting Moana and, surprisingly, the Dumbo play area. She did not like Space Mountain or Expedition Everest, but tried them both like an absolute champion. I can safely say, after four days of Disney magic, I get why people love it.

Her autograph book is full, our legs are sore, our hearts are bursting, and we all lived happily ever after.
