Hello!
Just wanted to give an update! Life is getting better each day! My energy level is returning and that make me and my family happy. I took Ella and Suzy for the first time by myself a couple of weeks ago. It was a great Auntie feeling too be able to do that again. I got 10,000 steps at work the other day and I celebrated!
Ive had some terrible leg pain since my last infusion in November. We decided to try some steroids and that has helped tremendously.
I can walk without the pain!
I have a scan on May 10, and do have some scan anxiety and I think that is probably normal!
I'm loving shopping trips to Sioux Falls again, even if I sleep on the way home.
Doing more things independently, I relied on Jon for lots of things but now I can do them again myself.
As I approach the day I found out I had cancer, May 31. I look back and think of all of you who prayed for me and looked out for me.
I'm preparing for Summer BASE and can't wait to have a great summer with those kids!
Chemo brain is real and I still have moments when my brain has a brain fart, but those are far and few between.
I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and ask for prayers for my scan on May 10!
