Journal entry by Nicole Snell

Hi Again...so Monday is a big day. I go in for my next MRI. I am praying the results are good. There is a high chance the clot hasn't gotten small or gone away, but I am hoping for the best. My neurologist feels like it will most likely adhere to the area of my brain and then my brain will create a new path to drain the blood away from my head back to my heart. It takes time, but the body truly is an amazing thing! It is hard to not be nervous that they will find more or an enlarged clot. They really struggled with keeping my INR levels consistent and in the correct range I needed to be in for the the past 7 months, and therefore I am not sure they have been working properly.

I am also hoping that I get to get my results before I leave the hospital. I hate the unknown....good or bad I just want to know right away what I am dealing with. This will help me so I know what I am facing going forward, and will be my guide on what life looks like from day to day.

I have been trying to work out daily. I am eating better. I am keeping my stress levels low. I am staying hydrated and not putting myself at risk for becoming dehydrated because that is a huge risk to my overall health.

I am blessed for those who check in on me from time to time. I am blessed for my family and all they do for me. I am blessed that Chad is a voice of reason so I don't let my mind spin out of control and get pulled into a downward spiral of negativity.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my posts.
