Celebration of Life

Location – Cedar Creek Park Shelter House, 3500 Cedar Park Road, Fairmont, MN 56031

Date & Time – October 17th, from 1:00pm-3:00pm

The day is fast approaching.  I wanted to let everyone know that after much deliberation we have decided to keep the date and time as scheduled despite increasing Covid numbers in the region.  We  will however be making some modifications.  As a nurse, we know Nicole would not want anyone to get sick at her celebration.  If you have symptoms or concerns, please be safe.

Nicole wanted to have a celebration, a party.  She imagined us renting a location and having music and drinks while sharing stories and laughter.  We know this is not possible in the current environment.  As a part of the foundation we would like to create in her honor, we will have the celebration she wanted in the future.

In the meantime, I realize that we all need a chance to remember Nicole.  Sunday will be a come-and-go event with no scheduled program.  Please feel free to arrive anytime between 1 and 3 to walk through the shelter house, view mementos of Nicole, and visit with family.  I will record the speech I had planned to make and post it to Caring Bridge next week.
