I am beyond upset!  About 3 1/2 weeks ago Avery and I were having a typical quarantined day in China.  Things were very slowly returning to normal between the pick-up of traffic and an additional gate being open at our apartment complex. I had been looking and looking at flights to get to the States but they were just so expensive.  Then I received a notice from the United States embassy stating that with the Coronavirus now in the United States borders could be closed.  I hadn’t had chemo since the end of January due to borders being closed from China to Hong Kong.  Mainland China did not have my chemo... not good.  So here I was - 2 months without chemo, my cough started kicking up.  With that notice from the embassy I thought, ‘we’ve got to go.’  Avery and I packed what we could into 3 suitcases and went to the airport with no ticket or plan to get to the U.S.  It eventually took us three nights and 5 flights:  we flew from Shenzhen to Beijing to Tokyo to San Francisco to Seattle to Tampa.  Why Tampa?  Because this is where my family is and truth be told I’m sure I could’ve shacked up with friends, but when I am not feeling 100% I just want to be with family.  So we self quarantine for 2 weeks and I make an appointment for a consultation at the Moffit Cancer Institute for Monday, April 20.  I am now getting close to explaining why I am upset... because Adventist Hospital, in Hong Kong has not sent my medical records which are needed for Monday’s appointment!  I’ve sent them 5 emails, with the most recent saying ‘it’s with a sense of urgency that my medical records....’.  Seriously?!  I haven’t had chemo for almost three months, stage IV cancer that is, I’ve traveled nearly around the world to just get the medical treatment I need and now my appointment has to be rescheduled.?  Grrrrrrr
