Nicholas’s Story

Site created on July 14, 2021

After months of struggling with what we thought were migraines and high csf (cerebrospinal fluid)... on April 16, 2021 we found out that our sweetheart, Niko, has cancer. He was diagnosed with GBM (Glioblastoma Multiform brain cancer). Results showed the cancer had spread to his spinal cord. This means he was a grade 4; but we are not without hope. Our God is bigger than cancer!

God’s hand has already been seen abundantly; we have been so loved and held by our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, soccer family, etc. We are not alone in this fight against cancer, God is with us every step.

Prayer is POWERFUL. It is not empty words but has the power to change. We beg y’all to pray with us for healing over Nicholas as well as for peace on his heart, our hearts, and the family and friends who love him and are also hurting by this news and on this journey with us. Thankful that our hope isn’t based on the temporary things of this world, but in an eternal God who holds and controls all things.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” - Isaiah 41:10
