New City’s Story

Hi church family! As a church who desires to proclaim the gospel and make disciples for the glory of God and the renewal of our city, we know that caring for children in foster care (and foster families) is a small part of that mission.

With three foster families in our church community, we have the incredible opportunity to walk alongside them and offer tangible support for their unique needs.

If you click on "Ways to Help" and then "Planner," you'll be able to see some of the ways these families need our support—childcare, housework, driving help, lawn care, etc. We ask that you'll prayerfully consider meeting one of these needs so these families don't have to fulfill this calling for orphan care alone.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."  James 1:27
