For all of us this has been a very special weekend. Both my and Jeff’s family got the chance to come back and visit Mom and Dad at their home. Dad came home about a week ago and has been doing well. Fact is, Mom is a 24 hour caregiver right now while Dad is making hourly gains on his physical and cognitive health.

All of us know that Dad has lots of recovery in front on him; But, being home is a milestone that all of us prayed for in Faith: Faith being that we believed in something that we couldn’t see.
Thank you All for having Faith with us. I think we’ll take a break from Caring Bridge for awhile. If nothing is said, assume Dad and all are on a steady journey back to a new norm.

This platform has been amazing for all of us as a way to relay information. Feel free to give Jeff, myself, Mom, or Dad a call for a check in or set up an in person visit. Feel even more free to call someone you love that you haven’t talked to in a bit as let them know you love them, you’re proud of them or just that you’re  thinking of them!
