I've been getting some questions, so let me first say that no, the service is not going to be three hours long. (Ugh, that would be horrible - for everyone involved.)

We'll be doing more of a wake-style service. Father John will be coming in to do maybe a short (half hour or less) memorial around 3ish, and folks can come and go as needed. (He will be coming from another funeral earlier in the day, so I say 3ish when it could be a half hour either side of that.)

Thank to you everyone for the well-wishes and offers of help. We've mostly just be going through a serious cleaning and purging of old things throughout the house as a way to stay busy and mentally occupied. It hasn't even been a week yet, and Dad and I keep wandering around wondering if this is all actually real and happening.
