It's been a tough couple weeks, but I wanted to thank everyone who reached out to express their condolences. The kids and I are able to spend quite a bit of time together with me taking a couple months off of work and them doing school remotely. Our support system continues to be amazing, and seeing the stories and pictures people posted brought tears to my eyes and smiles to my face - the college pictures were the best ❤️.

Many of you have asked about a couple of things; How can you help? Will there be a celebration of life?

For those wishing to help, we have set up a Memorial Fund with the Swedish Cancer Institute where Nancy was treated. Her Oncologist, his support staff and the nurses at Swedish were amazing, and we're thankful she was in great hands throughout this process. For those who have already sent money, I'll be making donations in your name, please reach out to me if you'd like those to remain anonymous.

We are planning to hold two 'Celebrations of Life', one in Washington and one in Nebraska. Unfortunately we're in a holding pattern until restrictions start being lifted. We are hoping to celebrate in Washington sometime this summer, and will likely wait until next summer (2021) to celebrate in Nebraska. I'll post on Facebook and CaringBridge once we have dates secured.

Thank you for all the love, support and memories you have provided over the last couple weeks, our family holds them all dearly.
